The firm congratulates partner Steven R. Cavalli for achieving two top listed settlements: one in the area of premises liability and the other a motor vehicle accident case.

Premises Liability: $2.9 Million
Kasamoto v. Commonweal: Plaintiff sued Commonweal in Bolinas for creating a dangerous condition. The 76 years old plaintiff fell down dark stairs, rendering her a quadriplegic. The parties reached a $2.9 million settlement.


Motor Vehicle Accident: $1.25 Million
Wilson-Males vs. Schindler Corporation: The plaintiff was rear-ended by a vehicle owned by Schindler Corporation. Defendant Schindler Corporation agreed to a mediated settlement settling the case on behalf of both defendants (Schindler Corp and their driver).
